Color Kitchen began with Ashley Phelps who discovered an interest in food sensitivities to chemical additives at an early age. Raised by a nutritionist mother, she grew up aware of how food can affect your health. With a substantial sweet tooth, Ashley made it her lifelong mission to create wholesome, chemical-free desserts that are colorful, playful, and both kid-friendly and mom-approved. After becoming an enthusiast for coloring agents, Ashley developed a line of natural arts & crafts – made entirely from food-grade ingredients – paints for kids, called Glob Colors. She then drove that passion and success to food-dye kits for Easter Eggs to bring that same wholesome ingredient base for beautiful colors to food. Thus, Color Kitchen was born, where today they continue to offer artificial-dye-free, plant-based, vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO colors.
