Seattle Chocolate

At Seattle Chocolate, they believe chocolate should add magic to your day, from the flavor to the packaging to the delightful deliciousness of it all. They’re passionate about cacao and the people who grow it, and they work hard to ensure ethical sourcing practices address issues like gender equality, child labor, sustainable farming methods, and more.

To put it simply, they want to make the world a little sweeter. What’s inside must be delicious, and what’s outside must be beautiful; that’s why they work with independent artists to create whimsical, one-of-a-kind packaging. Nothing leaves their factory until they’ve stamped it delicious, including a smooth truffle mouthfeel and an imaginative flavor combination. They are women, risk-takers and chocolate-makers, here to brighten your day and make the world a bit sweeter, with every bite!

Every Bite You Take Gives Back

As a woman-owned company, Seattle Chocolate is passionate about empowering the new generation of girls, which is why they donate 10% of net profits from every Seattle Chocolate purchase to Girls Inc., inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Their giving mission is expanding to support female cocoa farmers in Ghana, where they’ve begun two projects that will ensure access to fresh, safe water, directly improving the lives of women and children in the cocoa industry. They also support a cacao farming Widow’s Group in the Asante Akim South District, helping this vulnerable group diversify their livelihoods to include organic pig farming.

Sustainability, From Ingredients to Packaging

Seattle Chocolate is officially carbon neutral, and they're just getting started! They work with small farmers in Peru and Rainforest Alliance Certified farms in West Africa; this ensures the cacao they source utilizes climate-smart, sustainable farming methods, safeguarding forest and biodiversity, and the reduced use of pesticides. Rainforest Alliance Certified cocoa is grown according to strict standards that protect natural resources and the environment. And Seattle Chocolate is committed to providing you products that have recyclable or compostable wrappers, which can still be surprisingly difficult to source.
