Directions

The following is a recommended but not required method for the use of Diapers.
1) Prepare
Cover the diaper changing surface with disposable liner. For diaper cream users, administer it onto a tissue now. Bring supplies to the diapering area.
2) Clean Child
Wash your hands thoroughly and place child onto diapering surface and unfasten diaper. Remove any soiled clothes. Ensure child is secure and away from unsafe items. Clean the child's diaper area with wet wipes, making sure to wipe front to back. Securely bag soiled diaper and clothing away from uncleanable surfaces. Wash child's hands.
3) Replace Diaper
Slide a new diaper under the child and apply diaper cream if needed with a tissue or clean, gloved finger. Fasten the diaper by wrapping between legs so that diaper is even front and back. Place tabs straight along the wavy frontal tape so that the diaper fits snuggly. Smooth down tabs to ensure a secure grip and tight hold. Carefully and dress the child.
4) Remove Trash
Place used wipes in the soiled diaper. Discard the soiled diaper and wipes in rubbish. Dispose of paper towels and/or gloves in rubbish.
5) Clean Up
Remove liner and discard in rubbish. Clean the surface with damp paper towels or baby wipes. Disinfect the entire surface, following the directions on the spray, fluid or wipe carefully. Choose a disinfectant suitable for the surface material. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
