Ingredients
- 16 Medjool dates, pitted and sliced open
- 8 pieces thin-sliced bacon, cut in half
- 4 ounces goat cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Onion Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon Frontier Co-op® Parsley
- Honey, for serving (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. On a baking sheet, lay out bacon pieces. Par-cook in oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until most of the fat renders out.
- Line a plate with a paper towel. Remove bacon from oven, transfer to plate and pat with a paper towel to remove excess fat.
- In a small bowl, mix goat cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme and parsley until well combined.
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Stuff each date with goat cheese, wrap each in bacon, then secure with a toothpick.
- Place dates on sheet pan. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until bacon is crispy. Remove from oven and serve warm with honey drizzled on top (optional).
