Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. On a baking sheet, lay out bacon pieces. Par-cook in oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until most of the fat renders out.
  2. Line a plate with a paper towel. Remove bacon from oven, transfer to plate and pat with a paper towel to remove excess fat.
  3. In a small bowl, mix goat cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme and parsley until well combined.
  4. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Stuff each date with goat cheese, wrap each in bacon, then secure with a toothpick.
  5. Place dates on sheet pan. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until bacon is crispy. Remove from oven and serve warm with honey drizzled on top (optional).
