Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Frontier Co-op® Organic Cornstarch
- 1/2 cup Frontier Co-op® Citric Acid
- 1 cup Frontier Co-op® Baking Soda
- 1 tablespoon Frontier Co-op® Organic Whole German Chamomile Flowers
- 1 tablespoon Frontier Co-op® Whole Elder Flowers
- 1 tablespoon Frontier Co-op® Organic Calendula Petals
- 1 tablespoon Frontier Co-op® Organic Red Rose Petals
- 15 drops Roman chamomile essential oil
- 15 drops rose essential oil
- 1 fluid ounce water
- Mister bottle
- 2- to 2 1/2-inch rectangular or square mold, or round bath bomb mold (optional)
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
- Add chamomile and rose essential oils, and mix thoroughly.
- Place 1 ounce water in mister bottle, and add to mixture 2 or 3 spritzes at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Go slowly – adding too much water at once will cause the mixture to foam.
- Continue spritzing water until mixture is the consistency of wet sand and will hold together when formed into small balls.
- Spoon mixture into mold. Alternatively, you can use your hands to form 2 tablespoons of mixture into individual balls.
- Place on parchment paper, a drying rack or other clean, dry surface and allow to dry for 48 hours. Once dry, remove from mold. Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place.
- To use, simply drop bomb into warm bath. Enjoy!
- Try these other herb combinations in your bath bombs: • Lavender + Chamomile + Calendula • Elder Flower + Rose + Calendula • Lavender + Peppermint • Calendula + Lavender + Chickweed
