Dearly Beloveds, we're gathered here today to celebrate a food that holds a special place in the Garza family's hearts, (and on the dessert table, amongst the spread of colorful homemade sweets for every quinceañera, anniversary, & special occasion): the Mexican wedding cookie! They have many memories of cooking hundreds—hundreds!—of these in the kitchen with their Grandma Campos before each of their siblings' weddings. Later, after embarking on their journey to health, these were one of the first sweets they recreated in a grain free and dairy free version, so they could continue to make—and bake—the beautiful memories that accompany these delicious cookies. Their Abuela Approved Grain Free Mexican Wedding Cookies are made from a blend of almond flour, pecans, powdered sugar, and cinnamon for all to enjoy. Sounds pretty dreamy, right? (OOP! Here's our cue, the moment we've all been waiting for:) You may now eat the cookie.

The family worked together to help Veronica Garza overcome challenging health conditions with a stack of homemade tortillas she created from almond flour, and the realization that a single tortilla can help more people feel included at the table. Siete desires to celebrate culture and honor authenticity with their customers at the dinner table. They believe that “together is better” by treating and supporting one another like familia and respecting different perspectives and stories.
