Z WRAPS
At Z Wraps, it’s their passion to infuse everyday life with timeless beauty and style. For as long as she can remember that’s what Z Wraps founder Michelle Zimora has been driven to do. As a child, she designed labels for jars of homemade jam she made with her mom. Sitting on her mom’s lap, she learned to sew and found a love of textiles. And then with two young daughters of her own, she took those skills to the next level, sewing chandeliers made of fine paper and curtains made of exquisite fabrics. Simply put, Michelle takes what’s around her and turns it into something beautiful and useful.
As a run-around mom who taught outdoor education before having kids, Michelle cares about making smart choices that are good for the environment – and look great, too.
In 2017, in her home kitchen, Michelle took one of her favorite printed fabrics and coated it in a blend of beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin. After continual testing, she got the recipe just right. The result was a reusable, washable Z Wrap, where pretty meets practical, for your lunchbox, leftovers, hostess gifts and more.
All-natural, reusable Z Wraps are the modern way to protect your food and the environment. With cotton fabrics in signature designs, these sustainable wraps are handcrafted with beeswax, organic jojoba oil and tree resin.
Z Wraps meet your practical needs for your lunchbox, leftovers, and hostess gifts. They can also be used as plastic wraps, sandwich bags, bowl covers, placemats, or even work surfaces. Use to wrap cheese, fruits and vegetables, bread, fresh herbs, salad greens and heads of lettuce, baked goods and more.
Z Wraps come in all different colors and sizes. Small, medium, large, and extra-large all with a variety of different patterns. Z Wraps last up to 18 months, depending on how much you use them and care for them. The wraps should not come into contact with hot water or hot surfaces, as the wax will melt, and shorten the lifespan of the wrap. Z Wraps are extremely easy to clean – just wash with cool water and mild soap if desired, then let air dry before next use.
