A family-owned brand committed to a better world, the seeds of Babo Botanicals were planted in 2010 after their founder Kate Solomon had her first born. In search of products that felt safe for her baby, she found none; there was a need for products using clean, natural ingredients that would be safe for babies, and everyone in the family.
Kate named the company after her little boy's security bunny. Embodying the comfort it provided her son, Babo Botanicals pours nature’s goodness into each of their products and blends it with love and care. Since its inception, Babo Botanicals continues to blossom into a brand you can love today by creating pure botanical products relied upon all around the world by families — just like yours.
Empowering Healthier Lives
True to its home garden roots, Babo Botanicals supports plant education at the Edible Academy at the New York Botanical Gardens, where children learn how to garden. Their Plant For Change™ initiative uses gardening to increase public health and awareness by educating children on gardening and nutrition, improving academic performance at schools and preventing disease. In 2014, they were one of the founders of the Sun Safety Coalition to raise awareness and prevent skin cancer. Several of their zinc sunscreens have been certified MADE SAFE, America’s first nontoxic seal for everyday products.
