Melanie Hurley started Piggy Paint when her daughters were 2 and 4. One night, when painting their nails over a foam plate, a glob of solvent-based polish dropped; it began to bubble and “ate” through the plate. Melanie was always worried about her girls putting their hands in their mouths after nail painting. Plus, the strong smell gave her headaches. She simply couldn’t find a safer alternative. And so, Piggy Paint was born!
