Coffee Sock Tea Sock filters fit a coffee mug and are intended for steeping. These filters are a reusable alternative to paper filters or tea bags. Cotton absorbs some of the oils released from coffee beans, yet lets acids pass through. Simply add desired amount of loose leaf tea to the strainer sock, pour over boiling water, and allow to brew until desired strength (for iced beverages prepare a strong brew).
