Provencal Compound Butter

The French love their bread and butter. This easy peasy Provencal Compound Butter comes together in minutes. Slather this on a crusty baguette or some sourdough. Top your favorite fish or veggies or even dip radishes. It makes a great gift wrapped in some Beyond Gourmet parchment paper. Freezes easily. Ingredients

Beyond Gourmet parchment paper
8 ounces of grass fed unsalted butter (french style if you can find it)
Zest of 1 whole lemon
1-2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons of Frontier Co-op Herbs de Provence French Blend w/Savory & Lavender
1 teaspoon of Frontier Co-op Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon of Frontier Co-op Onion Powder
1 teaspoon of Frontier Co-op Fleur de Sel
1 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground Frontier Co-op White Ceylon or Pink Peppercorns
*if you use salted butter then you will omit the Fleur de Sel or just adjust to taste
Directions
1. Mix the room temperature butter with lemon zest, juice and all the seasonings. Adjust for taste.
2. Roll into a cylinder with parchment paper and twist the ends off or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
