Sweet El Ras Hanout Spice Blend

Translated in Arabic, El Ras Hanout, literally means “head of shop or top shelf”. It is a vibrant and earthy blend of eight spices. Traditionally used as a meat rub or in savory dishes, if you love chai, you will love the sweet version of this El Ras Hanout. Use this mix to sprinkle on top of coffee cakes, pumpkin bread, muffins, scones, homemade donuts or over the foam of your lattes, on top of the whipped cream on hot cocoa or even whipped into a honey butter, sprinkle on roasted veggies and squash. Only three ingredients makes it super easy to prepare, keep it in an airtight jar or gift it away. (Thank you to our friend Stacey Swanson for creating this wonderful recipe.)
