This homemade green tea scrub is easy to make and smells delightful. Whether you keep it for yourself or gift it in a cute jar, you are going to love the antibacterial properties this healing Japanese tea provides. Full of antioxidants which are known for calming acne and increasing skin elasticity, and ECGC, which is helpful in reducing inflammation and evening skin tone. (Thank you to our friend Stacey Swanson for creating this wonderful recipe.)
Ingredients
-
1 cup of Wholesome organic granulated sugar
2.5 teaspoons of Simply Organic Orange extract flavor
2 teaspoons of Frontier Co-op Japanese matcha green tea powder
1/4 cup of Aura Cacia apricot kernel oil
Directions
Simply mix all ingredients in a bowl. If you like a more granulated scrub use more sugar vs apricot oil. If you like a smoother scrub, add in a bit more oil. Store in an air tight jar or container such as a mason jar. Use in the shower on your whole body or as a quick hand or foot scrub.
