Out with the old, in with the fresh — it’s time to spring clean your pantry shelves and transition from heavy winter foods to lighter fare and flavors. Besides, who has time to cook? Here’s what you need to spring into healthy eating....

Start with a Champion Breakfast

Who has time to fix a big breakfast? And though the jury is still out as to whether it’s the most important meal of the day, we do know definitively that eating a healthy breakfast has many benefits. A breakfast that pairs protein with fiber promotes satiety; this duo helps to keep you full for longer. Plus, high fiber content supports gut health and helps lower inflammatory markers. All in all, a great way to start your day!

  • Grandy Organics Organic Classic Granola

This traditional oat-based granola packs 8 grams of protein into each serving and features nutritious pumpkin seeds, walnuts and cashews. Lightly sweetened with wildflower honey, it’s the perfect partner to your plain yogurt, milk, or plant-based beverage. Grandy Classic Organic Granola is handmade in small batches at their solar-powered bakery, and just like the sun, it provides you with energy to power all your adventures.

  • Sunwarrior Protein Powders

Your body's daily performance depends on the fuel you feed it. Sunwarrior Protein Powders build and repair lean muscle while replenishing vital minerals. Fusing the art of flavor and the science of performance, their organic protein powders are formulated to support your nutritional needs, and every scoop provides a walloping 30 grams of protein per serving! Elevate your well-being and performance with ingredients like brown rice, peas, pumpkin seed, tart cherry, maca, turmeric, and black pepper. Certified organic, these powders are soy-free, gluten-free, non-GMO, dairy-free, lactose-free, and have zero grams of added sugar. And perhaps best of all, they taste great!

  • Organic India Psyllium Pre & Probiotic Powder

If you’re like millions of other Americans, you don’t eat enough daily fiber. This versatile Psyllium Pre and Probiotic Fiber Powder, in a delicious cinnamon flavor, supports digestive health, heart health and helps maintain healthy levels of cholesterol, while pre and probiotics nourish and support a healthy gut microbiome. A classic Ayurvedic formula of three herbs known as Triphala is added for a deeply nurturing and cleansing finish. This fiber powder can be added to cake and bread recipes, blended into smoothies, stirred into water, sprinkled into oatmeal, or even used as an egg replacer in vegan baking. It’s a must-have in your pantry.

Flavorful Ways to Stay Hydrated

Spring is all about fruits, and these drinks bring Springtime flavors to the forefront of your taste buds, while also quenching your thirst and hydration requirements. Ice the teas by day…. heat them on a cool evening; either way, they’re sure to delight your senses. Not a tea drinker? It’s time to meet WaterDrop, your new BFF.

  • Celestial Seasonings Fruit Tea Sampler

Celestial packed as much lively fruit flavor into their Fruit Herb Tea Sampler as their box would hold. From the sweet, simple pleasures of Black Cherry Berry to the sophisticated taste of Wild Berry Zinger, each of these all-natural luscious herbal blends is satisfying when hot and invigorating over ice. All are caffeine-free.

  • Stash Meyer Lemon Team

An artfully crafted herbal blend of rose hips, lemongrass, orange peel, hibiscus, Meyer lemon oil and safflower. Meyer lemons, a cross between a lemon and mandarin orange, deliver a burst of lemon flavor, without the lip-puckering tartness. Unfortunately, Meyers are available for only a couple of months each year; but lucky for us, Stash has captured their juicy lemony taste and fragrant aroma and released them in this tea, a refreshing delight any time of day, hot or iced. Who needs lemonade?

  • Waterdrop Microdrink Water Cubes

Daily hydration made simple, flavorful, and nutritious! With the finest fruit and plant extracts compressed into a small cube, all you need is fresh water for on-the-go refreshment. Waterdrop Iced Tea varieties are where sweet and fruity meet the gentle tartness of black, green or white tea. Iced-tea flavors contain caffeine equivalent to a cup of tea. Waterdrop Microlyte varieties provide you with 5 electrolytes, 9 vitamins and zinc that can be enjoyed anywhere at any time. With Waterdrop, you save 98% of plastic compared to drinks in plastic bottles.

Grab-n-Go Healthy Snacks

Longer days and more intense spring activities may require a bit more fuel to keep your energy level up. Be sure to bring along some of these healthy snacks, low in sugars and saturated fats, and loaded with nutrients, including dietary fibers.

  • Navitas Naturals Blueberry Hemp Power Snack

Not sure how you’re going to find the time to eat lunch? Take along these Navitas Power Snacks, which bring together two of North America's most beloved superfoods: blueberries and hemp. They taste so amazing together your taste buds may not believe they're good for you, too! The protein-rich hemp seeds and the antioxidant power of the blueberries will keep you going strong on just a few scrumptious bites.

  • Tiger Nuts

They’re not actually nuts; Tiger nuts are prebiotic tubers packed with iron, potassium, magnesium, fiber, vitamin C and E that satiate hunger because of their high fiber content. Tiger nuts have all the goodness of nuts, without the stuff that affects allergies. You can enjoy them straight out of the bag or soaked in water to soften and enhance their flavor.

  • MadeGood Granola Bars

What's this? A delicious MadeGood Granola Bar that thinks it's a cookie! It’s vegan, organic, gluten-free and free from nine of the most common allergens, including dairy, so everyone can enjoy the mouthwatering goodness. Classic Spring Herbs & Spices

Grilling and picnic season is upon us, and whether you prefer spicy heat or melt-in-your-mouth mellow flavors, we have what you need to tantalize your taste buds. Our great variety of dry rubs, marinades, and classic herbs and spices are essential ingredients as well as the crowning culinary touch you need to elevate your meats, vegetables, salads and grain dishes from good to marvelous!

  • Simply Organic® Dry Rubs

If you love a comforting mix of smoky and savory flavors made even better with a touch of heat, then our Cajun Dry Rub blend for grilled seafood, shrimp boils, oven fries and more will put a happy grin on your face. Or, do you prefer the perfect balance of tangy and smoky, with just enough heat to perk up your tastebuds? Then our Buffalo Dry Rub is just what you’re craving for your grilled wings, and chicken strips; plus, it also works wonders sprinkled over mac and cheese, chili, and popcorn.

  • Simply Organic®  Marinades

Infuse your favorite cuts of beef, portobello mushrooms, seitan 'steaks' or vegetables with fresh, vibrant flavor in as little as 15 minutes with our Simply Organic Marinade Mixes, featuring an excellently balanced fusion of organic spices and herbs. The beauty in marinating meats is that your fridge does all of the work: let the oil and vinegar in the mix break down the outer layer so the meat can soak up all of the flavors from the seasoning blend. The result: restaurant-worthy meals on the table in no time.

  • Frontier Co-op®  Smoked Sea Salts

Veggies, meats, fish, grains… everything tastes better with a dash or two of our Alder Smoked Salt or Applewood Smoked Salt. Their authentic flavors come from being slowly smoked over true wood, not from artificial flavorings or oils.  Alderwood is the traditional smoking wood of the Northwest and offers a sweet, true smokehouse flavor. Applewood Smoked Sea Salt is smoked over true Eastern Washington aged applewood at low temperatures, yielding a dense, fruity-sweet flavor, unlike most other woods.

  • Spring's Must-Have Fabulous Five

It simply doesn’t taste like Spring without these five essential herbs and spices. Stock up so you always have plenty on hand!

1.     Chives have a mild onion-like flavor, which makes it perfect for sprinkling over everything from sandwich fillings and potato salad to sprucing up sour cream, soups, salads, dressings, egg dishes and casseroles.

2.     Aromatic dill shines in the warmer months, especially for those bistro-style patio and porch gatherings. More delicately flavored than the seed from the same plant, it enhances rather than dominates and is delicious in salads, light gravies, and with fish and grains. The refreshing flavor pairs well with fattier meats, sauces and dips, especially those based with butter, sour cream, or yogurt.

3.     Lemon, lemon, lemon! In any shape or form, nothing adds spring zing to a dish like a bit of lemon. Use lemon peel granules or lemon powder to add brilliant citrus flavor to teas, baked goods, spice blends, marinades and rubs. Fresh and convenient, dried lemon peel is a great addition to infused oil, flavored butter, soups, and, of course, fish dishes.

4.     When it comes to spring cooking’s lighter fare, freshly-ground peppercorns are “the cherry on top”, lending a burst of vibrant flavor, just before serving. Give a twist or two or three to a variety of dishes, including salads, pasta, potatoes, fish, meat, marinades, dips and sauces. And think outside of the color box; pink, black, white, green, tellicherry — each peppercorn variety has a unique flavor profile worthy of its own taste test.

5.     Of course cilantro is essential for Mexican, Indian and Asian dishes, but its fresh, herbaceous flavor also pairs perfectly with spring’s favorite vegetables: carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, peas, and radishes. Use it in your spring rolls, as a salad topping, and add to grain dishes just before serving.
